South Park

We drove down to the South for one day business trip.
Firstly, we visited Kaoshiung.
The weather was very sunny, which is a stereotype of South part in Taiwan.
Because i am in lighting business now, so i paid special attention to the street lights.
There are various trendy street lights in Kaoshiung city, but not LED.
The cloest you drove to Kaoshiung port, the shorter the light pole.
Since the roads are very broad, it won't be difficult to set up higher light poles.
Overall, Kaoshiung city impressed me a lot. I would like to visit it from time to time.

After Kaoshiung, we went to Tainan. This is the hometown of former Taiwan President.
Tainan makes you feel very countryside....
even the buildings are not high.
Well, the atmosphere is quiet, th0ugh.

If you asked me the preference, i would say i prefer Kaoshiung.

Another breakthrough is: I drove back from Tainan to Taichung.
This is the very first time i took long drive.
For me, it's a challenge and I make it!!

Road No.61

On the return way from Taipei to Taichung, my colleague took Road No.61 instead of highway 3. It was said to be faster and cheaper.
I believed we were the only car on the road No.61.
The road was built along the beach.
When I was little, i did not like sea at all. Not to say I ever fall off to the sea.
Maybe that's also the reason why I felt No.61 is weird.
We passed by a lot of fishery harbors...in the darkness.
One section of the road, you can see huge 風力電動 (pls advise English)
Those huge monsters made me feel "ALIEN"
What a scary road.
If I were a good writer, I would write a fiction named "Road No.61"

Pear Cafe

Last Firday night, Tony (my boss) treated us to the nearby restaurant.
The restaurant is just near my living neighborhood.
It is called "Pear Cafe".
www.pearcafe.com.tw

They decorate the place with a lot of green colour.
People who wear green clothes can even get discounts.
The food is fine...well...above average...but, not excellent.
We enjoyed that dinner very much 'cause we shared many jokes!

There are many Taiwanese who loss job at this time.
Thank God that I still have a job and get better salary.
I will keep working hard to maintain this kind of life.

Slogan

This week, my boss "Tony" and I went to visit potential customers in Taipei.
There's a slogan which impressed me a lot.
I would like to share this slogan on my blog.
It was said
" A winner finds solutions;
A loser makes excuses"
It is very true, isn't it?
I will remind myself about this slogan since then.

Full Month

Last Friday (Apr.9th) was one month serving at CME. In order to appreciate my mentor at office, we went to Lanna Thai Restaurant (www.lanna-thai.com.tw). Over there, i saw cute elephants as decoration. There is a big car park at restaurant and it was full. We ordered papaya salad, lemon fish, 月亮蝦餅和炒茄子(請協助翻譯). The food is spicy and excellent. We enjoyed a very pleasant Friday night. I think i might pay them another visits in the future. Because the restaurant is very close to my office/living place. The Mother's Day is coming soon. Perhaps the Lanna is a very good choice.

Vegi at Cake House

In order to chase bad breath away, I am managing to become a Vegi since this week (WK15). So far, so good. The bad smell was gone! This is amazing!!
During Chinese New Year, my sis & HD advised me to lead a healthy life. I agree upon their suggestions, but did not take immdeiate action. Last week, a bad smell was coming from my mouth. My body was smelled like dad meat. I did not feel comfortable at all,, though there's no pains at all. Eating vegetables is awesome and I feel extremely happy now.

Olbama is living in the white house, I am living in the cake house. Whenever I raised head to my room ceiling, I can see the white decoration. The decoration is like the creamy part on the cake. same style, same color...strike me to think about candy house in the fairytale....Princess Debu is living in the cake house...ha ha ha! agree?
