Beijing Trip 2009

Last week, i was on my business trip to Beijing, China. A single room was booked for me. Luckily, the hotel was fully booked. So, they upgrade me to "Business" suite. Look how big it is! I am a lucky dog!!
The temperature in Beijing was extremely cold. Let say -9 or even lower. I almost put on all my colthes. After exhibition, I visited 天安門,王府井 and 北京向上看. The last place is very interesting. There is huge screen up above your head. You can see big animation in the sky (left corner in the pictures). At 王府井, they sell 烤肉串. Guess what they have? Sea horses (the right bottom corner), 蟬 & its egg...kind of scary, isn't it? Overall, i enjoyed very much in Beijing. It's a place worthy of visit.

cocktail - limited edition 2009

Since summer, i started to collect cocktail can. This kind of can drink is tasty and cheap. Most important of all, the can is very beautiful. That's why I want to collect them. pity that i miss spring edition. However, this is for 2009. If I keep collecting, i will let 2010 to be complete set. Let's wait and see!

Today is my birthday. My sister, Angel and my sister-in-law, Zoe sent me message greetings. Thanks! Girls!!
Last Saturday, my birthday party was in advance. The party was held in Dadu.
Look at the pictures. We ordered two big pizza and there's still one left. Also, the red wine is very fruity and sweet.
We drank a lot because of nice taste. Meanwhile, it's Kareoke time. Singing at home is free.
One of my birthday wish is slim down. ha ha ha! ever hope that i can wear bikini when i become 40.

Pimple Face

Maybe because of weather, maybe because of wrong face wash, because of whatever, my face was full of pimples these days. It was red and ichy. After careful consideration, i choose BIORE to heal my skin. This new desing is mosse foam. So, the mosse is very mild (won't hurt my skin) and i think it was only maketing in Taiwan (limited edition). I bought it last night at Cosmed. After washing, i found it works. My skin is not so red and my pimples were gone. Hence, the BIORE is recommended!

Family tour- Florence Resort

As soon as arriving at resort, there's welcome afternoon-tea. We were served at outdoor. The view is fantastic so we forgot volve was in trouble. The resort atmosphere is rather European. Owing to the resort location is in the mountains, the air is fresh which relax people a lot. Inside the resort, the room decoration is Italien style. You just feel you were in Europe.
Dinner was served at restaurant and the menu was hop pot (like Japanese shapu-shapu). We enjoyed it very much. After dinner, we headed to SPA. We were the only group at SPA because we went around 20:30 and the closing time is 21:00. However, we felt we are VIP....even little keroro "swim" a lot.
The next morning, we check-out after taking breakfeast.
Though time is short, we had lot of fun at resort. If possible, everyone wants to visit it again!

Autumn Trip - On the Way

Two families were going to Chinjing for resort tour. There are two cars.
One is Jeep and another is Volve.
Everyting went well, until.....
Volve was broken on the way. All of a sudden, the car stopped along the road to the mountain.
So, Jeep pulled Volve to the parking lot.
Fortunately, there's repair shop nearby.
Look at little keroro, he was extremely shocked.

Summit Conference

Yesterday, I took high speed train to Taipei on my own.
I was assigned to attend the summit conference with Romanian company.
This activity was organised by TAITRA.
Honest to say, I like to travel alone.
Because the schedule will be very free.
Before the meeting, I took above picture...looks a little formal, right?
I have my lunch after this meeting ( around 15:00pm)
Guess what? I bought 高鐵便當. The taste is rather traditional
Well...I still enjoyed it very much.

Autumn Trip

My business trip to Hong Kong this time aimed to collect business information. The Convention & Exhibition Centre is just close to the port and the view is fantastic! No wonder people will call HK as "the pearl in the East".

Besides the view, local food is very tasty....too tasty to take pictures. Before taking pictures, food was already in my stomach.

If you asked me to visit HK again, i would raise my hand and cry out: Volunteer!

Mountain Hiking

Saturday afternoon, i drove to 桐林步道 with Mom. It took about 30 minutes to arrive its parking lot.

Usually, we hiked and chatted along the walking path. The path is very quiet and we enjoyed the harmony in the woods. The weather was not windy this time, but the scene up on the mountina was still very beautiful.

It was very relaxing during the whole tour (3 hours). But, i felt very tired after coming home. need more trainning, ha ha!

BBQ at Dadu

This year, i went along with Zoe to her parents' place to have BBQ party to celebrate Mid Autumn Festival
Zoe is my sister-in-law ( My brother, Tony's wife). Her family likes guests and they invite many people to come to this party. I did not take pictures when people gathering around (busy ma...)
This time, Tony prepared Japanese hamburger to grill. All the guests found it interesting and delicious. I think HD will like it, too.

The whole process is grill, eat, grill, eat.....a ciricle.
This is traditional Taiwanese Mid Autumn Festival.
Lot of food, mooncakes, drinks.

Lin's Garden in Wufong

Lin's Garden is a historic architecture in Taiwan. It was protected by government. After earthquake, the garden was ruined. Government spent a large amount of budget to redesign this garden. I was told President Ma will come to Wufong to announce its re-open. So, i walked to that area to take some pictures. Well, i think President Ma was just a rumor because the garden is still under construction. Somehow, few parts have been rebuilt (see the belowing parts of pictures).
Someday, if it's really re-open, will update la!

200g Mushroom

Angle told me a diet tip: 200g mushroom per dinner. If you persist on, soon you will lose weight.
Hence, I went for supermarket and grab as much mushroom as I can (see the photo!). My fridge is half loaded, but most of them are mushroom...ha ha.

Supermarket

Since HD was chatting with me regarding the nearby environment in my living place, i shoot some pictures to capture some images! Here it is...the supermarket is around 3 minutes drive from my office (also from my suit). In the opposite of the supermarket is the steak house. The supermarket itself is the chain store, like anywhere in this world.

Chinese Valentine's Day

Last night was Chinese Valentine's Day.

Owing to Chris and I are both at work, we did not go somewhere special to dine out.

Chris order 雙湯noodle, I picked up "地獄拉麵" 'cause my heavy cought. If not spicy, i cannot taste the soup. I mean the soup will be too plain for me....

Two bowl of lamen cost NT340. For Valentine's Day, it's cheap la!

Hair Salon

My hair keeps short these days.

I am thinking to maintain this hair style.

This hair style was made in a household hair salon.

Speedtrain

I took speedtrain to Hsinzhou yesterday for business.

The meeting was held at Starbucks of Hsinzhou speedtrain station.

That station is not as big as Taichung one.

Bur, Hsinzhou has MOSburger (the point i want to show in the picture)!

I was excited to see MOS and want to take a bite.

However, my boss is just beside me. So, i miss this chance.

On the way back to Taichung, the train was kind of crowded.

Speedtrain is very normal in the developed country. Not to mention Taiwan.

The recent popular items are "lunchbox" on the speedtrain.

Next time, when i got chances to buy it, i will show the meal pictures.

Mini table

Everything inside the cake house is very mini.

Take the dinning table for example.

It is as if I was living in the boat cabin.

For one person, the table is far enough.

Maybe a little bit crowded for two....

Honest to say, i seldom use it. Just show it for fun la!

Neutrogena

After using FANCL for almost two years, I changed my mind to use another brand.

FANCL is nothing wrong with me. The products are quite reliable.

I got the membership and FANCL is celebrating the 30th anniversary.

Look at the little gift I retrieved few months ago.

Neutrogena is my new choice. I bought one set - face wash, warming treatment and cooling toner. I started to use last night. The feeling is so refresh. simply follow the 3 steps: face wash, then apply warming treatment on the T zone. After applying, you will feel "heat" on your skin. Then, use water to wash off. The final step is cooling toner. I like it because the smell is sort of grapefruit. It's summerlike. Most important of all, my skin accept Netrogena. There is no allergy at all. How lucky I am!

Little Michael

Why keroro was named Michael?

For one reason, he is a fan of Michael Jackson.

Everytime, he needs Michael's MTV to calm down.

Whenever he calms down, grandma or his father can feed him meal.

For another reason, the first word he prounced clearly is - Michael

So, his father name him Michael.

Look his latest stylish hair....well....none...because grandma is not in Taiwan.

So, barehead is much easier to maintain.

Metabo Diet Coffee

My coffee is run out. Please remember this important point.
So, i went to Cosmed to purchase Metabo Diet Cofee imported from Japan.
Before buying, i searched on the Internet to see its effects.
Most of people say this kind of coffee is very good for digestation.
won't cause diareha, but can clean up your body.
In addition, Comed is promoting 海綿寶寶. with 8 stamps collection, i can change cute wallet. My old wallet is kind of broken....
Because of so many reasons, i went to buy Metabo Diet Coffee at Cosmed.
This morning, I tried one cup before going to office.
The taste is very smooth. I think people who don't take coffee can accept its flavour very easily. Only black coffee is easy to take. I feel very refreshed before my morning work. Then, I wait...wait for what? toilet la
So far, I have no feeling to go to toilet (strange....).
Could it be diet coffee for everyone, except me?
I hope this kind of nightmare won't happen to me.
Maybe i need another cup tonight....what do you think?

Super Typhoon

Taiwan was attacked by super typhoon since last Friday night. Till now, it's still rainning and windy....

Luckily, my parents' place and my cake house are fine. They provide the best shelter during these days. As to southern parts of Taiwan, it was a disaster. According to the News, a six-story hotel was collasposed because of heavy rain. This was just one example. There are still others. Bridges are also broken. A father and a daughter drove to their destination. On the bridge, the daughter called her mother and cried for: we are falling down....guess what? The bridge just disappeared. Of course, people who drove on that bridge disappeared, too.
Motorcycles were described as "balling" on the driveway. Cars were drowned (thanks God i am still alive).

Everyone is praying this disaster to come to the end. It's extremely terrible and Taiwanese cannot affoard anymore.

Pink Cakehouse

I was never to make my cake house pink. But, it just happens!
Last week, I remade my bed sheet.
The old one i used did not fit well with the bed. It's a little smaller than the bed.
So, I transfer blanket into the bed sheet. It fits just well.
The bed sheet now turns to be pink colour.
the same as the pad, the umbrella and some other stuff.
They look like the decoration on the cake.
Ha ha...a strawberry flavoured cake house!!

Reading Habit

Recently, I am crazy for books.
Please do not misunderstand that i am longing for studying.
The books which i mention here are fictions, novels, something light...
cannot remember how it happened?
I started to visit book stores, internet books and whereever with books.
Reading therefore becomes a habit in my daily life.
After duty, i rushed to home to take a bite of my dinner.
Then, i will open books to enjoy my leisure time.
On weekends, reading also took me a lot of time.
I have to say: I am really happy with books.
sounds nice, doesn't it?

Empaty Balcony

I have to say: never feel so warm!!
After cleaning up the toilet of the cake house, i was heading for Mcdonald.
The reason is I want to save up electricity. So, I have to locate somewhere cool.
I spend one hour walking under the sun.
Gosh! long time did not sweat so much....
Finally, i arrived at Mcdonald and ordered a big cafe latte.
Mcdonald is cold enough and I enjoyed 1.5 hrs reading my fiction.
walking back is another one hour. Logically, i think i can kill time by walking.

The sunshine is so wild and i failed to walk back to the cake house directly.
Instead, i rushed into convenient store to enjoy the air-con.
If not, i will faint down on the street. The sunshine kills people.

What a relief to return home around 17:00pm.
The cake house is not so warm as i imagined.
look at the empaty baclony, i am thinking to put some plants.
Plants suppose to cool down the place. Is it a good idea?

Designer's dress

Followed by my planned schedule, I drove to 向上路

My previos office was located around that area.

Last week, I went to 向上路 and took a glance at that boutique.

85% off! How attractive!!

I swear to myself that if I went to 向上路again and the boutique is still on sale.

I will try on that dress and buy it.

After all, my closet is empty.

Those left are winter clothes. So, I convince myself that i should buy new cloth.

I stepped into that boutique and found that dress is still there and also the discount. I am intended to buy. Therefore, I asked for trying on. The size is just my size "M". How great! After discount, it costs me NT1,000. The original price is over NT5,000. It is a must buy, isn't it?
