Reading Habit

Recently, I am crazy for books.
Please do not misunderstand that i am longing for studying.
The books which i mention here are fictions, novels, something light...
cannot remember how it happened?
I started to visit book stores, internet books and whereever with books.
Reading therefore becomes a habit in my daily life.
After duty, i rushed to home to take a bite of my dinner.
Then, i will open books to enjoy my leisure time.
On weekends, reading also took me a lot of time.
I have to say: I am really happy with books.
sounds nice, doesn't it?

Empaty Balcony

I have to say: never feel so warm!!
After cleaning up the toilet of the cake house, i was heading for Mcdonald.
The reason is I want to save up electricity. So, I have to locate somewhere cool.
I spend one hour walking under the sun.
Gosh! long time did not sweat so much....
Finally, i arrived at Mcdonald and ordered a big cafe latte.
Mcdonald is cold enough and I enjoyed 1.5 hrs reading my fiction.
walking back is another one hour. Logically, i think i can kill time by walking.

The sunshine is so wild and i failed to walk back to the cake house directly.
Instead, i rushed into convenient store to enjoy the air-con.
If not, i will faint down on the street. The sunshine kills people.

What a relief to return home around 17:00pm.
The cake house is not so warm as i imagined.
look at the empaty baclony, i am thinking to put some plants.
Plants suppose to cool down the place. Is it a good idea?

Designer's dress

Followed by my planned schedule, I drove to 向上路

My previos office was located around that area.

Last week, I went to 向上路 and took a glance at that boutique.

85% off! How attractive!!

I swear to myself that if I went to 向上路again and the boutique is still on sale.

I will try on that dress and buy it.

After all, my closet is empty.

Those left are winter clothes. So, I convince myself that i should buy new cloth.

I stepped into that boutique and found that dress is still there and also the discount. I am intended to buy. Therefore, I asked for trying on. The size is just my size "M". How great! After discount, it costs me NT1,000. The original price is over NT5,000. It is a must buy, isn't it?

Post office near Cake House

It may read like diary. But, my first time ma....sorry. Let's start.

This morning, I walked to the nearby post office in the next block.

Now, I understood this post office is rather small. Because it was not opened on Saturdays. Pity...

Then, I walkd dow the street to buy myself a drink for breakfeast. Look at the street shot- the neighborhood near my cake house. There are more than one drink shops. I tried 牛乃堂and ordered its special "牛奶糖牛奶". The taste is what I like. I think i will revisit very often.

P.S I am not good at/ familiar with the edition of photos. So, i will write several articles (in order to match photos). Haha!

Papaya Milk

These days, the weather is extremely hot. Cold drinks become the necessities. Today at office, we ordered papaya milk.
One of my favorite papay milk store is in Wufong. The old store is located in the ancient market in Wufong. Whenever passing by, I would be atrracted to its papaya milk and cannot stand to buy one.
Recently, Taichung people are crazy for 北回木瓜牛奶. We were intended to order 北回. However, the min. order amount is NT600. So, we gave up. Finally, what we drank is 高雄牛乳大王. It's so tasty under this kind of hot weather. Maybe someday, i will make papaya milk at home by myself...ha ha ha

kiki restaurant

Kiki restaurant was founded by three famous Taiwanese actresses: 舒淇,藍心湄&陶晶瑩 Except three restaurants in Taipei, there is one located at Taichung.
Last night, we treated a business parter to this place for dinner. First of all, we ordered 宮保雞丁. Then, we have no ideas what else to order. By waiter's recommendation, we ordered 腐乳高麗菜 and one fish which i forgot name. Chicken and vegetables turn out to be very fine...very tasty. The final one is that fish. It is a giant fish. This is the only word i can describe it. Three of us felt very full after eating that fish. Fortunately, we did not order other dishes. We were planning to order more before the fish. But, we hesitated. Oh! I forgot that I ordered 四川擔擔麵. The noodle is just eatable. So far, the best noodle i ever tried is what served at 鼎泰豐 (miss the flavor).

Repositioning

Last night, I moved around everything in the cake house.
Small bakery oven was moved to my office.
The original place was planned to become a mini reading area.
I am planning to buy some comfortable soft couches/pads...suitable for longer sitting. There is strong lighting over that area. So, I can read as long as I want.
Hard to believe i have almost everyting in the cake house.
A kitchen with fridge, a bathroom with spa, a TV set with a closet, a dressing area, a twin bed, two balcony...and now, even a reading area!
Well, the cake house is crowded....but, everything was there.
For one person, this is also standable.

燒香

In order to get bigger orders, my boss asked 老師 to look around the office environment and all related settings. We then changed table positions, location of plants, to name but a few...

Today is the 16th of the lunar calender. Accordingly, my boss pleased his mother to prepare fruits and brought one basket to the office. Everyone was 拜拜 in front of office and my other job was 燒紙錢給地基主 in the ground floor. Long time i did not do this, but i think i handle it pretty well.

No matter how, we wish a big fortune to CME. If you read this article, please pray the same...
